iPhone favorite shots.

I tend to have a little problem collecting photos on my iphone and then there they stay, for years!  Well, I’ve finally loaded a bunch of them to my computer, and I mean a BUNCH!!  Like nearly 2000 I think!

Carter January 2010.  He was not feeling well and fell asleep on my lap.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this photo of his sweet face and his chubby fingers.

Carter, June 2010 playing in grandma’s back yard.  He loved (and still loves) to be outside!

First family boating trip of the summer.  It was too cold for a long time that summer.  It was July before we got on the river.  Love how great my iPhone takes photos outdoors!

The bum shot!  August 2010.  In a hotel for a weekend volleyball camp for one of the girls.  That was a hand towel wrapped around Carter!

Just one of those spur of the moment shots while in the store.  Carter put Spencer’s hat on and his face was just too cute!

December 3, 2010.  And we have snow!!!!  I’m sure it didn’t stick around very long but at least they got to roll some snow balls.

December 19, 2010  Ok, so maybe the snow stuck around for a little bit.  Yes, that’s Cierra out in the snow in her SHORTS, and yes, she’s going to get on the trampoline and jump in her shorts.  At least she’s wearing a coat!

January 13, 2010  It’s times like this when I’m really thankful I have a camera on my phone!  And I’m sure Cierra was wishing I DID NOT!  LOL  She actually broke her toe leg wrestling at school. Yep, you read that right, LEG WRESTLING!  Her foot hit the shin of another girl and she broke her toe.  Isn’t that a lovely blue shoe!  Luckily we found a black walking boot for her to borrow.

And I’ll stop there!  Anyone reading this is probably on picture overload by now.

A few Halloween favorites.

It seems like every year pumpkin carving gets easier and quicker.  As the youngest gets more and more independent it sure makes things easier.  It’s always fun to see what they come up with for their jack-o-lantern faces.

My little police man at preschool.  It was my help day at preschool on Halloween, I was able to see all the kids in their costumes, which is always fun!  The mustache only lasted about 30 minutes then he was done with it.  We drew one on for the evening activities.

Halloween wouldn’t be the same without a trip to the Uptown Shopping Center for some daylight trick or treating.004007009

Neighborly Love

My neighbor and friend was planning a vintage sale and commented that she would love to make a cute bunting but her sewing skills were quite rusty.  So, being that I’d rather sew something than do laundry, I whipped out my fabric scraps and decided to make one for her.  Super easy and super fast!  Just cut some fabric scraps with pinking sheers and stitch them to a long ribbon.  Done!  She was more than thrilled and I was happy to do something for her.  048049

It added just the right bit of cuteness to her vintage sale!050051

Are you ready for some football?

Finally posting some football photos, now that football is almost over.  Better late than never!

We had a little mishap with Mason’s new uniform.  Can anyone tell what it is??023026

Cierra is actually the one who noticed it.  Name is spelled wrong.  I’m happy to report that it has been fixed and all is well!  But we got a good chuckle out of it.  A bit frustrating but still kind of funny.027030

Mason has started to come out of his shell this year.  He’s always been a bit timid on the field but at this game he had quite a few tackles.  This was right after a tackle as he was getting up.036 Mason after a takle

Why is purple so difficult?

The hunting gang

Are there other people that have such a hard time with purple on layouts?  This was a bit overkill but oh well.  I have a picture and I told about the event and I’m leaving it.  Smile  I played around with some gesso on this page.  The hardest thing for me is waiting for stuff to dry.  That’s probably why I haven’t played with many wet things like gesso and molding paste.  Mist I can dry quickly so it doesn’t bother me so much.  I spread some gesso on the base of this LO then used my heat gun to help it dry quicker.  Then I used some Smooch Spritz on a foam brush to add the purple.  Don’t totally love it, that’s why most of it got covered up.  I’m trying to just leave things and not stress about it.

Supplies:  Papers from Fancy Pants, Stampin Up and Bazzill.  Washi tape from Recollections, Queen & Co, Target, Pick Your Plum, Darice, MME, Scotch and K & Company.  Enamel dots from MME. Simple Stories alphas.  Brads from SEI.
