Busy Summer

Wow, I think I've been busy this summer! I was asked to be the YCL (Youth Camp Leader) Leader for girls camp, which was in July. There are many, many meetings that go along with that and trying to get all the girls together and make sure they are doing what they are supposed do be doing was a good challenge! That occupied most of my time up until camp. Now that camp is over I can just let out a big sigh of relief. It was a fun week at camp though. I had a GREAT group of girls and they were awesome at camp. I kept hearing all week how everyone loved my YCL's and thought they were doing a great job. This years camp theme was Journey to Higher Ground and everything was western. We were the YCL Posse.

Since Harley is 12 she was able to go also. She had a great time too. She was lucky to have her good friend Sarah come back home for the summer and go to girls camp with her! I knew she would have a great time. We love to go camping as a family so I had no worries about her.

Since I am pregnant Alex had to (got to) go with me to camp also. He also had a good time. Somehow my YCL's convinced him to let them paint a target on the back of his head. They got a kick out of that!

If any of you didn't know, I'm expecting my 5th baby. I'm about 19 weeks right now and I'm feeling great! I'm pretty lucky to have easy pregnancies. I was a tiny bit sick at the very beginning with this one but it's all gone now. I think I have started to feel a tiny bit of movement the last week or so. It will be fun when my kids can start to feel the baby kick. I have a ultrasound next week and and I'm planning on taking Harley and Cierra with me. After that we'll start picking out a name. I haven't even given it any thought yet. Both of my sisters are pregnant also! That makes it more fun to have cousins very close in age!

My next project I have gotten myself into is doing a scrapbooking project for a big Tri-Ward Super Saturday at church. I made an acrylic album and people can sign up and pay to make it. As soon as we start getting sign ups then I'll have to start making kits like mad! It's pretty easy though and I have people who are willing to help me cut out paper too.

Hey! That album is really cute!!! :D

Our reunion is at LePage Park. It's where the John Day River flows into the Columbia. It's had some growing pains but it's a great area...especially for boaters!!! :D
