Having all these pictures in a row really shows the color is off! Sorry, There seems to be a shadow that I missed when I was taking the pictures of this LO and I didn’t do a very good job in PSE fixing the color.

I saved a couple of stars from Harley’s birthday cake knowing that I would use it on a scrapbook page! It’s a good thing I did because purple scrapbooking supplies are a hard to come by! Well, at least in my stash they are. I had hardly anything purple!

A couple weeks back I purchased a small bag of mini popsicle sticks. I’m on this craze right now trying to figure out different ways to use them. When I pulled these pictures out I knew right away that I needed to make a raft out of sticks! The background paper is from Heidi Swapp. It’s that color resist paper. This is the first time I have used it, it’s pretty cool!

I started this layout at my Wenatchee Crop (Wannahatchanegg, inside joke). Finally, 2 months later I finished it.
The pictures are from the day Spencer was baptized. It was such a beautiful day outside that I was able to get pictures of all the kids that morning.
The paper is from Basic Grey. Some of it is from the Piccadilly line. The “flowers” are stamps from Stampin Up, Delicate Doily, used with Stampin Up ink. The button is from Basic Grey

I used Echo Park paper, Tim Holtz distress ink. The alphas were from a different Echo Park line than the paper.
This layout sat on my desk for nearly 2 months. I had such a hard time figuring out a title and how to finish it. Sometimes I love some of the pictures so much that I’m afraid I’ll not be happy with the layout when I’m done and it will ruin the photos for me. But I’m loving the way this one turned out and I’m very happy to finally have it done!
I believe the paper is from MME and Basic Grey (I didn’t write it down and it was a while ago). The stars were cut using a Big Shot die cut. Washi tape (flag) from Queen & Co. Alphas from Cosmo Cricket and Thickers.
I have quite a few pictures of my boys playing in the mud pit in the backyard. It’s quite an adventure for them. Thank goodness for bathtubs!
Have you ever used popsicle sticks on a layout? I had to buy some larger, tongue depressor size sticks the other day and came across the tiny ones I used in this LO. I thought they were so cute, I couldn’t resist! I’m sure there are dozens of ways to use them on a page!
A little bit of Tim Holtz distress ink and a Stampin Up pen to give them some wood grain and viola! Clothes line poles!
I inked most everything on the page including the letters. I also used some Tattered Angels glimmer mist to add a little messy to the Lo. It’s all about the mud!

Have you ever had a layout that you didn’t really like after you made it but then the more you look it gets better and better? Well, that’s how I felt about this layout. I took a class sponsored by Queen & Co. at a Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention. I took the class because the class description was about using twine. Twine is so fun to use and there’s so many fun colors! Well, I got to the class and was handed this packet of goodies with all these super bright colors in it. Not generally my favorite. Wasn’t sure exactly what I didn’t like about it but it just wasn’t my favorite. At any rate, I enjoyed the class and the techniques they shared and even one a spool of twine!! Woo hoo!! I love winning stuff!!
So, this layout sat in my scrappy bag from CKC for many many months until I decided that I really should finish it. I was lucky to find some pictures from boating that would work perfectly with the bright colors on the layout. I had actually finished this layout a few months ago and it just sat there in my scrap room waiting for it to be photographed and then put in an album. When I pulled it out I realized that I really did like it after all!! It’s growing on me! Maybe the awesome smiles on my boy’s faces gets my attention more than that bright green paper. It’s all good because now I like this layout when at first I didn’t care for it much.

I love banners right now. Are they still “in?” Doesn’t matter, I’m still using them anyway. I love the little something it gives the corner of a layout. And hexagons, they are everywhere and they can be really fun! These were hand cut from some MME paper, I like the way the kind of flow across the page.
I had intentions of adding a journaling tag somewhere on this layout but then decided to just blend the journaling in with the paper. Can you see it? It’s on the stripe paper. I found a Stampin Up pen that nearly matched the blue stripe! I love the way it turned out.
